How many stationed at Korat, at least in the "early years" of 1966/7 remember what is in this picture? IF I remember right, this tailor shop in downtown Korat was owned by a fella from India. The store was small, I don't remember where it was in relation to anything, but, again, if memory serves, he had a right-hand drive green and white 1956 Chevy two-door post parked out in front, an incredible sight in Korat at that time. I think the Chevy was a model 150, not a Bel Air. A stripper he told me he bought new, but I don't recall where, Bangkok or India. You got the typical "Bag-o-Coke" with a couple small blocks of clear ice and a straw when you came to visit him. Remember the plastic Bag-o-Coke everywhere you went in Korat at that time? I got some shirts from this place, custom-made. Too bad I grew out of them and threw them away years ago. But, I recently found these "labels" tucked away in a drawer for the last 35 years. Do they bring back any memories?
