I was on active duty from Jul ’69 thru Oct ’75. After Nav and EW school at Mather AFB and a quick 6 week Weasel course at Nellis, arrived at Korat for my first tour. Flew with the 6010th/17th Wild Weasel Sq from Jun ’71 to Jun ’72. Returned to Nellis and checked out in F-111As with the 428th TFS. Deployed to Takhli from Jan – Jun ’73. Then assigned to RAF Upper Heyford with the 77th TFS from Oct ’73 to Oct ’75. Separated from active duty in Oct ’75.
From ’75 thru ’85, I worked at three Aerospace companies working on GPS receiver/aircraft compatibility, Army Air defense weapon systems, and B-2 bomber avionics. From ’85 until I retired in Jan 2010, I worked at the Lockheed Skunk Works (which morphed into Lockheed Martin Aeronautics over time). Worked on the F-117 Nighthawk for 25 years (avionics systems and as a Project manager for “special projects”). I’m currently part time technical consultant with Denmar Technical Services.
