I arrived in Korat in October 1970. Fresh from the F-105 Tactical Weapons School at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas. Originally holding PCS orders to the 355th Combat Support Group, 355th MMS squadron at Takhli, RTAFB, my orders were changed in transit (at Bangkok!!!!) and I was reassigned to the 388th Combat Support Group,Tactical Fighter Wing, 388th Munitions Maintenance Squadron, Korat, RTAFB.
