This picture is of the Det. 7 6922nd Security Wing of the USAF Security Service and was taken around July of 1969.

I think we were the smallest unit on the base and won the Base Slow Pitch Softball Championship that year.  The Captain promised to buy all the beer if we won any games.  We were 15-0.  I know I drank enough that I didn’t know or cared who bought.  The next duty station for several of us was NSA at Ft. Meade, Maryland (see USAFSS at wikipedia.org).  I was discharged in November 1970.
